We have created a publication celebrating the UK Now Festival which took place in 17 cities across China, organised by the British Council from April to November 2012. The Festival was the largest festival of its kind.
The design of the book had to reflect the spirit of the Festival and the full range of art forms included in the Festival: music, dance, visual arts, design, fashion, architecture, theatre, literature, film, digital and live art.
To reflect the range of colours used in the design of the UK Now identity, a colour was applied to each section of the book, indicating a change of content and supporting the theme of diversity. The different colour sections were then exposed on the open spine.
