Richard Rogers Fellowship

Harvard University Graduate School of Design

We have been brought by Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) to create a new identity for Richard Rogers Fellowship at the occasion of the launch of a new architecture and urban research residency program.

We designed the identity to be flexible like the space, to be playful and content led. The arch shaped device is influenced by the structure of the house and its construction, the arch ‘houses’ the Harvard logo and the Richard Rogers Fellowship typographic marque.

Taking these simple elements of a graphic shape and typographic marque, the identity can then grow and develop, becoming more and more flexible, just like the space. The arch shape can be expanded to fill a space, it can also be deconstructed and used as brackets within which content can be highlighted and framed whilst always linking harvard and the fellowship.
